7th - Shartlesville 240th Anniversary Celebration.
Activities begin at 9:15 p.m. with a Founder's Day Service. Experience
what it was like in the 1800's as the men sat on one side of the church
and the women and children the other. Watch as the deacons strolled
along the aisles waking those who nodded off. Hear the old-time hymns
that were favorites at that time played on the original Dieffenbach organ.
Activities will continue with a Down Memory Lane parade*. We will be
depicting the eras of history with motorized vehicles and the dress of
the time. The parade will begin at 12:30 p.m. Food and Beverages will be
available at Haag's Pavilion area.
Gather at Haag's Pavilion area following the parade for fun and
fellowship and Old Fashioned Games. Games beginning at 2:30 p.m.
Following the games will be more fellowship and music.
